Acupuncture

Natural and non-invasive

In addition to its traditional uses, in recent years acupuncture has developed to be used as a natural and non-invasive treatment for anti-aging and facial enhancement.

By inserting extremely fine needles into certain points and muscles on the face, the body’s micro-wound healing response is triggered. This results in the lymphatic and circulatory systems being activated, which work together to deliver increased blood and oxygen to skin cells, resulting in the skin being nourished which brightens the complexion. The microtraumas also stimulate the production of collagen which helps improve elasticity, resulting in tighter muscles and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

Treatment will also involve the use of body points to support and provide a more holistic approach to your facial acupuncture treatment.

“I was given a course of acupuncture as a present and although I wasn’t sceptical about the practice It wasn’t something I’d planned to do but I’m so pleased I did.

Hina instantly put me at me ease, she is empathetic and professional. She took the time to get to know and understand me and why I was there.”
